Grade 2/3 with Mrs.Rogers

Learning Excellence

Presentations

on November 4, 2016

This afternoon the Grade 3s were invited to join a presentation from Elder Betty and Calvin Racette to learn about plants from a First Nations perspective.

Both the 2s and 3s were then treated to another special presenter, Sergeant Darren Finkeldey (Noah’s dad) from the Regina Police Service. He shared with us important safety information regarding strangers, described his uniform and purpose for all of his tools, and even gave students an opportunity to try on his bullet proof vest and get handcuffed. Students loved it! Thank you Mr.Finkeldey for visiting us, giving students each a water bottle and books and helping keep our community safe!
